Entrepreneurship development is a key area of intervention, focusing on building skills among women and youth and promoting individual and group enterprises. Our primary objective is to generate local employment opportunities that leverage existing skills, knowledge, and resources. Through targeted capacity-building initiatives, VIDHAN has empowered more than 2,000 youth, women, and farmers to develop business ideas and establish micro-enterprises, including grocery shops, livestock rearing, poultry farming, and tailoring. Additionally, we support group enterprises that provide quality inputs to farming communities. Women have also received training in specialized areas such as bamboo product production and sanitary pad manufacturing. Regular exposure visits and expert interactions further enhance their skills, providing valuable insights into enterprise management. To date, VIDHAN has nurtured over ------- enterprises, fostering economic resilience.
